The Most Common Hot Tub Problems
Having a hot tub is great. Not only can you kick back, relax, and enjoy a nice soothing session in hot water, but they also make a great conversation piece and people love them. But they don't always stand up to par if you get them from a less-than-spectacular dealer. Here are some of the most common hot tub problems. If you are experiencing them, then it could be time to get a nice one from us.
One of the most common issues by far. We can't tell you how many times people have told us they don't like their current one because the jets don't work well or the water isn't hot enough. This is probably due to a clogged filter. It can happen because of debris from outside, wear and tear, or other build-up inside. Doesn't matter why it's happening, though, what is important is getting it fixed.
The very name hot tub implies that the water should be, well, hot, you know? Many owners complain that they aren't getting enough heat and they end up jumping into what turns out to be a cold pool. If the ph. level is low, then there is a good chance that the heater has been corroded. Also, if it is too old, then it could just be past its use.
Burned Circuit Board
The good thing about electronics is that they can control everything easily and make our lives a lot more convenient. The bad thing is that they fry sometimes and cost a lot to repair. If the loose screws or other problems in your tub cause the circuit to fry, it is going to be a costly repair. In fact, you are better off just getting a new one.
